Meet The Baker

Now a professional baker since 2011, Beth Reed has been baking since she was 10 years old. It has been her hobby and her passion.  The mother of 2 daughters, Jennifer and Allison, she would often get asked to bring baked treats to school parties and after-school activities.  Inevitably, there were always several children who were left out, unable to have the treat due to food allergies.   Enjoying baked treats has always been a part of Beth's life, and she feels that everyone should be able to be a part of life's big and small celebrations.

All Hands in the Cookie Jar was created to allow the opportunity for all people with food allergies to be included and feel welcome.  Beth worked in the hospitality industry for many years, and feels strongly about making the people around you feel special.  There is no better way to do that than to consider a person's individual situation.

Beth is a graduate of Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, where she studied Food Chemistry and Food Sanitation practices.  She also has an MBA in Operations Management from Drexel University.  Beth has worked professionally with food and beverage for over 20 years.
